Disputes
A formal dispute should be the last resort. Most problems are solved by talking.
- 01
Talk.
Message the other side clearly and calmly. Say what you expected and what happened.
- 02
Try to resolve it.
Many issues turn out to be a misunderstanding about what was agreed.
- 03
Gather evidence.
Collect what shows the facts.
- 04
Formal dispute.
If you still can't agree, raise one.
- What helps
- The agreement and your messages, photos and video, receipts, tracking and delivery records, service deliverables, and timestamps.
- How Paxtra reviews a dispute
- Paxtra looks at the facts, the transaction details, the evidence, the transaction terms and Paxtra's policies. Paxtra does not automatically favour either side.
- Possible outcomes
- Where supported, the outcome may be release to the seller, a refund to the buyer, a partial resolution or another permitted outcome. It depends on the facts. No fixed percentages are promised.
- If the buyer doesn't respond
- If a buyer doesn't confirm after fulfilment, or a dispute is decided, the result is applied through this process. How release works
- Other routes
- Paxtra's dispute process is separate from card chargebacks, Stripe processes, bank disputes, your legal rights, and courts or regulators. Using one doesn't stop you using another.
