1. About This Policy

1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how Paxtra Inc. (Paxtra, we, us or our) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.usepaxtra.com and on our web application and any mobile application we introduce (together, the Platform).

1.2 It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally, and our Terms of Service.

2. What Are Cookies?

2.1 Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They help a site work, remember your choices, keep it secure, and understand how it is used.

2.2 Cookies can be session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay for a set period. They can be first-party, set by us, or third-party, set by another organisation whose service we use.

3. Why We Use Cookies

We group cookies into the categories below. Section 4 distinguishes cookies used on the current marketing website from cookies that apply only if later application, payment or security features are enabled.

CategoryWhat it doesNeeds your consent?
Strictly necessarySupports signing in, account security, fraud prevention, payments and remembering your cookie choice.No. These cannot be switched off through our cookie controls, because the Platform would not work properly without them.
AnalyticsHelps us understand website traffic, engagement, navigation and sign-ups so we can fix problems and improve the Platform. We use Google Analytics 4.Yes.
MarketingHelps us measure which of our advertising campaigns lead to visits and registrations. We currently use the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel. We do not currently use Google Ads conversion tracking.Yes.
FunctionalWould remember optional settings such as language, accessibility or interface preferences. We do not use any at launch. If we add some, we will list them here before switching them on.Yes, where they are not strictly necessary.

4. Cookies We Use

4.1 Table A lists cookies used on the current marketing website (www.usepaxtra.com), after the relevant consent where required. Table B lists cookies that apply only if signed-in application accounts, Stripe checkout or Cloudflare bot protection are enabled; they are not set by the current marketing website. Providers can change their cookies, and we update these tables when they do, before any new technology is switched on.

Google Ads conversion cookies, including _gcl_au and _gcl_aw, are not used on the current marketing website, because Google Ads conversion tracking is not installed. Google Tag Manager Preview for this website does not include an AW- conversion tag. If we enable Google Ads later, we will list those cookies here before switching them on and ask for consent again where required.

Table B — Cookies for future signed-in application, payment or security features. These are not set by the current marketing website.

4.2 The Stripe cookies in Table B are set by Stripe only when a page loads Stripe’s payment code. That does not happen on the current marketing website. Stripe is responsible for them, and describes them in its own privacy and cookie documentation, available at https://stripe.com/privacy and https://stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.

7. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

7.1 Most browsers let you see, block or delete cookies in their settings. The steps differ by browser, so check the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or whichever you use.

7.2 If you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Platform may not work. For example, you may not be able to stay signed in or complete a payment securely.

7.3 Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. We recognise Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends one, we switch off optional marketing tracking, and do not use your information for advertising or share it for advertising purposes, unless you have made a valid choice that allows it. We also recognise the Do Not Track (DNT) signal: if it is on and you have not explicitly agreed to optional tracking, we keep analytics and marketing tracking switched off. An explicit consent choice you make is respected over a DNT signal. Neither signal stops the cookies needed for signing in, security, fraud prevention and payments.

8. Similar Technologies

8.1 Besides cookies, we use similar technologies that store or read information on your device or in your browser. The table below lists Paxtra’s own local storage and session storage on the current marketing website. Server logs record technical information such as your IP address and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. Some of our providers may also use local storage or similar identifiers after you agree to analytics or marketing. Where they do, they follow the same consent rules as cookies.

NameStoragePurposeCategoryDuration
paxtra_consentlocalStorageJSON copy of your cookie choice, including whether marketing was allowed while a Global Privacy Control signal was present. Used so the site can respect that choice.Strictly necessary6 months (same period as the paxtra_consent cookie)
paxtra_campaignsessionStorageStores UTM campaign parameters from the address bar so later consented analytics or marketing events can include the campaign source. Written if those parameters are in the URL. Not sent to Google, Meta or TikTok until you agree to analytics or marketing.Analytics and marketing measurementSession
paxtra_pending_eventssessionStorageTemporarily holds consented measurement events across a same-session page navigation, then sends them to the data layer. Written only after analytics or marketing consent. Cleared if you withdraw optional consent.AnalyticsSession
paxtra_gtm_previewsessionStorageStores Google Tag Manager Preview parameters while Paxtra tests tags. Not set for ordinary visitors.Strictly necessary for Preview testing onlySession

8.2 If you agree to marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel. These are small pieces of code that tell those providers about your visit and actions on the Platform, such as signing up. They load only after you agree. We do not currently load Google Ads tags. We do not send passwords, payment card details, identity documents or dispute evidence to analytics or advertising providers.

9. Changes to This Policy

9.1 We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use, or when the law changes. We will post the new version with an updated date. If a change affects how we use non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
