Service Availability Notice. Paxtra is preparing to launch its payment services. Certain features, including live payment processing, seller payouts and transaction dispute resolution, may not yet be available. Features, payment methods, fees and geographical availability are subject to confirmation before launch. Paxtra will update its applicable policies and provide notice where required before enabling additional services.

1. Summary

Buyers pay no additional Paxtra platform fee. A Buyer pays the exact price agreed with the Seller, plus any taxes that apply.

Sellers and service providers pay the Paxtra transaction fee. It is deducted from the Seller’s proceeds before the Seller receives their net entitlement.

Paxtra intends to pay the standard Stripe processing charges from its own fee revenue.

The first pilot is limited to transactions from C$10 to C$500, in Canadian dollars. Higher-value pricing is planned for a later stage and is not yet available.

Optional services, such as Instant Payout, are planned. We will show any charge before you choose a service.

2. Current fees

These are our proposed initial rates for the pilot. We review them periodically, and they may be revised under section 5. This page shows only the rates that apply to the current service period, and separately lists pricing that is planned but not yet available.

The C$3.00 minimum applies to any transaction under C$54.55, where 5.5% would be less than C$3.00. For example, on a C$10 transaction the fee is C$3.00, which is 30% of the price.

Before a Seller commits to a transaction, Paxtra will show the fee in dollars and the Seller’s net entitlement, so that the effect of the minimum fee is clear.

Planned for a later stage (not currently available)

The rates below are a flat rate set by the total Transaction Amount. They are not applied in separate bands. The existence of a rate does not mean Paxtra supports that transaction amount.

Instant Payout, for illustration only (planned, not available). The fee is 1.5% of the eligible payout amount, minimum C$1.00. A payout of C$50 would cost C$1.00, C$100 would cost C$1.50, C$200 would cost C$3.00, and C$500 would cost C$7.50.

The Seller’s net entitlement is eligible for transfer only after the release conditions in the Terms and the Dispute Resolution Policy are met. Releasing the entitlement is separate from the time a bank payout then takes. Stripe’s processing charges on the payment are intended to be paid by Paxtra from its fee.

4. Refunds of fees

Once a Seller’s proceeds have been released, Paxtra’s fee is generally not refundable, including where the Seller later refunds the Buyer. Where a Buyer is refunded before release, Paxtra does not collect its fee on the refunded amount. For a partial refund, the fee is the same rate applied to the amount released to the Seller, and never more than that amount. Paxtra bears Stripe’s processing charges. We refund a fee where the law requires it, where Paxtra made an error, or where the terms of the transaction expressly say so. See the Refund and Cancellation Summary.

5. How fees change

5.1 We review our fees from time to time. We may change them, and may raise or lower them. The fee that applies to a transaction is shown before the Seller commits to it. Changes apply from the effective date shown on this page, and not backwards.

5.2 Each transaction keeps the fee rate, currency and Schedule version that applied when it was agreed, and the Seller’s agreed net entitlement is recorded at that time. A later change does not alter what you agreed on an existing transaction. We keep earlier versions of this Schedule for reconciliation and dispute purposes.

5.3 Where the law or a contract requires advance notice of a change, we give it by email, in-app notice or a notice on this page before the change takes effect.

5.4 Taxes, where they apply to our fees, are added to the fee.
