2. Keeping your details current

You must keep your email address and phone number up to date. We are not responsible for notices you do not receive because your details were out of date, or because email or SMS delivery failed for reasons outside our control.

3. What you need

To receive electronic communications you need a device with internet access, a current web browser, an email account you can access, and, for SMS, a mobile phone that can receive text messages.

4. Marketing is separate

Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, or where Canadian law (including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation) otherwise permits. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time without closing your account. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Electronic acceptance and signatures

6.1 You may accept our Terms, policies, transactions and other agreements electronically, for example by ticking a box, clicking a confirmation button, accepting the Terms, or confirming an individual transaction.

6.2 These electronic acts have the same effect as a handwritten signature, as far as the law allows. We keep electronic records of them, including the version accepted, the date and time, and technical information about the device.

6.3 Paxtra does not currently use a separate electronic-signature service.

7. Records

We may keep records of transaction-related acceptance for seven years where applicable legal, financial or regulatory requirements justify it. Other consent records are kept as set out in the Privacy Policy.
